Job Title: Technical Instructor

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Instructor to join our team.

The successful candidate will work as part of our Neurological Outpatient Service, providing highly skilled support to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide initial assessments and ongoing treatment, education, and instruction to patients in individual and group settings.
  • Work unsupervised when appropriate, either in the outpatient setting or in patients' homes without direct supervision.
  • Support administration tasks, including telephone cover and clerical duties.

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths passes
  • NVQ3 or equivalent in a relevant healthcare subject
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in adult/older people's rehabilitation
