Job Summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our Neurological Outpatient Service team. As a Technical Instructor, you will provide highly skilled support to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, aiding the rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions.

Main Duties

  • Provide initial assessment for designated patient groups, as agreed with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work single-handedly and unsupervised when appropriate, either in the outpatient setting or occasionally in patients' homes without direct supervision or presence of a qualified therapist.
  • Plan and provide ongoing treatment, education, and instruction to patients in both individual and group settings.
  • Provide administration support, including telephone cover and clerical duties as needed.
