Job Summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our Neurological Outpatient Service team at Ripley Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality support to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, aiding the rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide initial assessments for designated patient groups, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, providing ongoing education and instruction to patients in individual and group settings.
  • Work independently and unsupervised, as required, in the outpatient setting or patients' homes.
  • Contribute to the administration of the service, providing telephone cover and undertaking clerical duties as needed.
