Job Summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our Amber Valley and Erewash Neurological Outpatient team. This role is based at Ripley Hospital, where we provide assessment and rehabilitation to outpatients with a range of neurological conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide highly skilled support to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the rehabilitation of patients.
  • Conduct initial assessments for designated patient groups, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work independently and unsupervised, as needed, in outpatient settings or patients' homes.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, education, and instruction for patients, including evaluation and progression of treatment programs.
  • Provide administrative support, including telephone cover and clerical duties.
