Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our Amber Valley and Erewash Neurological Outpatient team. This role is based at Ripley Hospital, where we provide assessment and rehabilitation to outpatients with a range of neurological conditions.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will provide highly skilled support to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, aiding the rehabilitation of patients in the Neurological Outpatient Service. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing initial assessments for designated patient groups, as agreed with the multidisciplinary team.
- Working single-handedly and unsupervised when appropriate, either in the outpatient setting or occasionally in patients' homes.
- Planning and providing ongoing treatment, education, and instruction to patients in individual and group settings.
- Providing administration support, including telephone cover and clerical duties as needed.
