Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced surgical first assistant to join our team in orthopaedics, supporting surgeons in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert support to surgeons during hand and feet surgeries, ensuring efficient and safe procedures.
  2. Contribute to complex surgeries such as THR, TKR, and TSR, prioritizing patient safety and team collaboration.
  3. Ensure effective communication among the surgical team, promoting a seamless working environment.
Job Details:
  • Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire.
  • Work Pattern: Flexible shifts available to accommodate various needs.
  • Rate: £38.00 per hour.
  • Pay Type: Options include umbrella or PAYE arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A registered nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant (SFA) qualification with significant experience in orthopaedic procedures.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is around £76,800 per annum, based on 40 hours of work per week at £38.00 per hour.
