Job Title: Operating Theatre Nurse Specialist

This is a challenging role for an experienced Theatre Practitioner/Scrub Nurse to join our team at The New Foscote Hospital in Banbury. As an Operating Theatre Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art operating theatre. You will assist the Theatre Manager and Deputy Theatre Manager in ensuring exceptional patient care, adhering to strict quality standards.

The New Foscote Hospital has been a leading healthcare provider in the region for over 40 years. We boast an impressive 50 consultants who choose to practice here alongside our dedicated nursing and support teams. Our hospital is managed and run by clinicians who are passionate about delivering the highest standards of care.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Theatre Manager and Deputy Theatre Manager in delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Provide skilled assistance to surgeons as a Surgical First Assistant.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to offer pre and post-operative patient-centred care.
  • Offer guidance, support, and leadership to the Theatre team.
