Job Description:

The John Muir Trust is recruiting a Community Outreach Manager to lead on the Trust's work across our Central Region wild place zones.

This role involves coordinating the Connect Outdoors project, an educational hiking programme that inspires and educates, as well as supporting national engagement work to increase access to wild places.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.

You will also have a good understanding of data analysis and reporting, with the ability to collect, analyse and report on project data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading the Connect Outdoors project, including planning and delivery.
  • Supporting project coordination, including ensuring smooth delivery of the project.
  • Collecting, analysing and reporting on project data.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants and staff.

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
