Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and punctual Driver to join our team at Sacro's Edinburgh Travel Service.

Your primary responsibility will be to transport registered passengers to and from their arranged visits, maintaining confidentiality and respect. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values the importance of community service and wants to make a positive impact.

Salary Estimate: £10-12 per hour (dependent on location and experience)

Requirements:

  • A full, clean UK driving licence and insurance
  • Access to a vehicle with a current MOT and regular servicing
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG)

About this role:

You will be working closely with families and friends of prisoners, facilitating their visits by providing safe and reliable transportation. As a driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation process and promoting positive relationships within the community.

  • A friendly, non-judgmental, and punctual attitude
  • The ability to commit to volunteering for at least a year
