Education and Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Education and Community Outreach Specialist in Edinburgh. This role involves delivering humanitarian education workshops across the city, working closely with volunteers and community partners to increase British Red Cross presence and impact.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and community development. As an Education and Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for managing partnerships and projects, ensuring education delivery meets quality standards, and adapting learning content to meet user needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement education programs to deliver vital skills to those at risk of experiencing a crisis
- Work alongside the Area Community Education Manager to build community partnerships and increase British Red Cross presence in communities
- Manage resources and volunteers to ensure effective education delivery
- A recognised education or facilitation qualification
- Excellent coaching skills
- A full clean driving licence
