Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian Outreach Officer

As a Charity Outreach Volunteer with Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian, you will play a vital role in delivering our Community Pain Education program across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us raise awareness and provide support to those affected by chronic pain.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Educators during Pain Education sessions
- Help with program promotion and outreach
- Distribute educational materials and resources
- Participate in community events and fairs
- Pro-actively build relationships with local schools, libraries, and healthcare professionals in the community
- Identify potential partners/sponsors for Pain Education sessions
- Adhere to Pain Concern's policies including Safeguarding
- Represent Pain Concern in a professional manner
- Signpost to NHS and Pain Concern's suite of resources
In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum, paid bi-weekly. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a comprehensive induction program, and a supportive team environment.
