Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Charity Outreach Volunteer. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting educators during Pain Education sessions, promoting programs and distributing educational materials and resources. They will also participate in community events and fairs, build relationships with local schools, libraries, and healthcare professionals, and identify potential partners/sponsors for Pain Education sessions. Additionally, they will assist with data collection and evaluation, attend training sessions and supervision sessions, and complete any administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Pain Management Programme graduate / lived personal experience / Interest in chronic pain and the work we do
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent planning, coordination, organisational, and time management skills
  • A flexible team player
  • Approachable and able to build effective relationships with the wider community
  • Experience of using Microsoft Teams, and administration relating to this
  • A working understanding of IT and Microsoft Office
  • A positive attitude, enthusiastic, patient with a professional approach to work
