Adults Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Worker to join our Adult's Initial Response team in Barnsley. This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding role for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and prioritize incoming referrals to adult social care, ensuring timely intervention where necessary.
- To make informed decisions regarding safeguarding concerns, protecting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
- To allocate work effectively among team members, considering their skills and workload.
- To provide supervision and support to colleagues, promoting professional growth and development.
- To contribute to the smooth operation of the Initial Response Team, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Valid full-time UK driving licence
- Post-qualification experience in adult social care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
