Senior Adult Social Care Attorney

About This Role:
Sellick Partnership is assisting Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council in their search for a Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support across a range of areas, including ordinary residence, Data Protection and Freedom of Information, safeguarding, provider failure, and section 117 aftercare.
- Advising Service Managers and Directors on Adult Social Care policy and procedure.
- Deputising for the Principal Lawyer and training and supporting the Lawyers in the team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive.
- Prior experience in adult social care law from either a private practice or a public sector setting.
