Opportunity to Make a Difference

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point UK. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with autism by providing person-centered support in a variety of settings.

Your primary goal will be to promote the independence of individuals, enabling them to live fulfilling lives while maintaining their dignity and autonomy. This may involve supporting daily activities, such as cleaning and cooking, as well as arranging activities in the home and local community.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting independence and supporting daily living skills
  • Assisting with personal care needs and supporting individuals with medication
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service monitoring requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about delivering high-quality care, flexible in your approach, and able to work effectively within a team. A background in adult social care or experience working with adults with learning disabilities or autism is desirable.

As a Support Worker with Turning Point UK, you will receive a competitive salary of £44 per hour, plus a range of benefits, including 29 days' paid holiday per year, increasing with each year of service up to 31 days, and access to comprehensive training and development opportunities.
