Barnsley, Barnsley, United Kingdom Exemplar Health Care Full time
About the Role

Our Care Assistants play a vital role in supporting adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives. No two days are ever the same, and we have a range of responsibilities that include supporting people with their personal care, assisting at meal times, understanding individual health and wellbeing needs, and promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect.

We have higher-than-average staffing levels, which means you'll have more time to spend with the people you support. Our induction, buddy, and ongoing training programmes will help you feel right at home, even if you haven't worked in the care sector before. We're committed to helping you develop and progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting people with their personal care
  • Assisting people at meal times
  • Understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
  • Encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities
  • Promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect

We're a values-driven organisation, and we're looking for people who share our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork. If you're caring, kind, understanding, and calm, and you're able to deal with and defuse challenging situations, we'd love to hear from you.

What We Offer
  • Regular supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, and career prospects
  • Access to wages before payday
  • Retail and lifestyle discounts
  • Free DBS check
  • 24/7 counselling and support

Sound good? We'd love to hear from you. Please note, applicants must be authorised to work in the UK. We're unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
