Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Adult Care Support Worker to join our team in Barnsley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals in their own homes and within our supported living facilities.
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to the role, be able to work a range of shift patterns, including evenings and weekends. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, plus benefits including 29 days' paid holiday and opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to individuals with complex needs
- Assist with daily living activities, such as cleaning and cooking
- Arrange activities in the home and local community
- Develop residents' life skills and personal interests
- Ensure record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times
Requirements:
- Passionate, caring, and enthusiastic individual
- Flexible and patient with good communication skills
- Ability to complete physical aspects of the role, such as manual handling
