About the Role:
The Ashberry Recruitment team is looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join their Barnsley Adult Social Care Initial Response Team. As an Experienced Social Worker, you will be responsible for allocating incoming work, making safeguarding decisions, and providing supervision and support to ensure the smooth running of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritise incoming referrals to adult social care, ensuring critical cases are identified and addressed promptly.
- Make informed decisions regarding safeguarding, ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable adults.
- Provide informal and formal supervision and support to team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Allocate incoming work to team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and service, identifying areas for development and implementing changes as necessary.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience.
