Business Development Manager Opportunity

Michele Denny Recruitment is partnering with a well-established local business to find an experienced Business Development Manager. This newly created role combines building strong relationships with an existing client base and capitalizing on business development skills to extend the reach of their unique products and services.

This full-time position offers hybrid working, a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, and private healthcare. The business continues to invest in its machinery and staff to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with existing clients to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, customers, products, and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, clients, and partners to enable repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to support account management.
  • Attend exhibitions and fairs to promote products and services.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business development or account management, preferably in a production or manufacturing background.
  • Dedication and commitment to building strong relationships with customers.
  • A strategic approach to business development with a professional and personable nature.
  • Resourcefulness in researching the market and identifying credible leads.
  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of Sage 200 and the Microsoft Suite.
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
