Culinary Operations Director

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Director to lead our food preparation and service team at WSH Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus in accordance with customer preferences and location style
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control, ensuring high standards and monitoring wastage and portion control
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Manage inventory levels, adopting a sensible approach to ordering supplies
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences, maintaining open communication channels
- Maintain health and safety compliance, supporting the head chef to ensure adherence to regulations and protocols
- Develop and manage kitchen budgets, reporting on financial performance and implementing cost savings as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience commensurate with the role
- Excellent culinary skills and leadership abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in food cost management and knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
