Interim HR Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim HR Director to join our manufacturing organisation in Somerset. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our people strategy, ensuring that our employees feel valued and are a significant part of our company's journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a high-performing company culture, leading the HR team to deliver the people plan and high standards of quality and productivity.
- Ensure that all employees feel valued and are a significant part of the company's journey.
- Develop policies and initiatives that attract, motivate, and retain talented and committed employees.
- Work closely with the Executive Team to effectively roll out our ambitious production and people strategy.
- Manage the annual pay awards and lead the RemCom meeting.
- Manage the clear plan for Learning and Development, including improving career development, learning culture, early careers, HR team evolution, well-being, and leadership development initiatives.
- FCIPD or MCIPD qualified and of graduate calibre.
- Must have in-depth experience of working at HR Director level in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Superb people manager, experienced in managing, motivating, and developing a large HR team.
- Able to translate strategic business initiatives into tactical HR activities.
- Have the skills and credibility to effectively coach and advise the directors.
- Passionate about sustainability and an advocate of supporting green practices.
- Commercially oriented with the ability to leverage data and logic in support of making a business case.
- A personable, skilled influencer, politically savvy, with the courage to challenge and also engage.
- Collaborative with an enabling coaching style.
- A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and experience of designing and delivering on innovative D.E.&I. initiatives.
