**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Interim to join our client, a highly regarded healthcare company in the Bath area, as an Interim Deputy Finance Director. The role is initially for 4-6 months to support an unexpected absence in the team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the Finance Director in leading and managing the finance function, producing financial reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Lead on income accounting and negotiating insurance price uplifts.
- Report and provide written commentary of month-end performance to the Head of Finance with variances.
- Support the Head of Finance in the production of the year-end statutory accounts and annual budgets.
- Lead on returns to the parent organization.
- Create and maintain financial reports clearly for non-financial parties.
- Review all month-end reconciliations and highlight issues to the Head of Finance.
- Review aged debt.
- Support/train Finance team.
- Ensure compliance with both financial and industry regulations.
- Create forward-looking budgeting models and feed into the group budgeting process.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals.
- Engage and support the Head of Finance with external partners, such as auditors, banks, and insurance companies.
- Lead on intercompany reconciliations.
- Undertake ad hoc project work.
**Requirements:**
- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experienced Senior Finance Interim with a background in healthcare or a similar industry.
- Personable and approachable with excellent communication skills.
