Deputy Director for People and Workforce

We are seeking an exceptional HR professional to join our team as Deputy Director for People and Workforce, playing a key role in leading our People Directorate and delivering our People Strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on all aspects of our people agenda across Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, working closely with the Executive Director for People's senior team.
- Support the Executive Director for People in the interface with our Integrated Care Systems.
- Develop and implement effective staff engagement strategies and policies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and managers to drive business outcomes and improve workforce performance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our services and the needs of our workforce.
- Substantial HR experience, with a successful track record of working at senior level management in a large organisation.
- Meaningful experience in a complex public sector or NHS organisation.
- Educated to Master's Degree in HRM, Employment Law or related management qualification or equivalent criteria.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
