We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Deputy Director for People. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our people strategy, ensuring that our workforce is equipped to deliver high-quality services to our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals to provide expert advice and guidance on people-related matters
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that support our people strategy
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our people strategy and make recommendations for improvement

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Substantial HR experience, with a successful track record of working at senior level management in a large organization
- Meaningful experience in a complex public sector or NHS organization
- Evidence of delivering effective staff engagement strategies and policies
Qualifications
We require a candidate with a Master's degree in HRM, Employment Law, or a related management qualification, or equivalent criteria.
Skills
We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
