About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional HR professional to join our team as Deputy Director for People and Workforce Strategy. This is a key leadership role that will play a crucial part in leading our People Directorate and delivering our People Strategy.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working at a senior level in a large organisation, with experience in complex public sector or NHS environments. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective staff engagement strategies and policies, and will have a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on all aspects of our people agenda across Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, working closely with the Executive Director for People's senior team.
- Develop and implement effective staff engagement strategies and policies to improve motivation, engagement, and retention.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law and HR best practices to senior leaders and managers.
- Work closely with the People Directorate team to deliver our People Strategy and improve the overall experience of our workforce.
