Technical Sales Role in Aerospace Industry

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to target growth within the aerospace, defence and power generation sectors as well as explore opportunities in other industries.

This role will involve 'going to market' and targeting these sectors on a consultative, solution sales basis. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Expanding strategic sales activities within the UK market, focusing on composites in industry.
  2. Cultivating new business growth opportunities while maintaining relationships with key accounts.
  3. Collaborating closely with internal teams including senior management, technical, R&D, and back-office departments.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar in a related technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering).

Additionally, they will require:

  1. Experience in Sales and Business Development, typically 5+ years, especially in commercialisation of ancillary/auxiliary/consumable materials primarily from within the aerospace and defence sectors.
  2. A background in Key Account Management, building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  1. Proven ability in contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and closing deals.
  2. A strategic approach and be able to support the senior management team with sales and business development planning.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
