Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Management Lead to join our team at NP Aerospace. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a vital role in supporting the business with all aspects of pre and post contract management.

In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts and subcontracts while ensuring full compliance with business governance and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our sales team to develop commercial input into bids and proposals, and negotiate and close contracts between NPA and its customers or key subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have vast experience in a commercial/contract management role, preferably in the defense industry. They should have a general understanding of import/export regulations and be able to evaluate, draft, negotiate, close, and manage the legal, commercial, and contractual aspects of complex contracts.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits including discretionary half-year bonuses, hybrid working, flexible start and finish hours, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, and a pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide day-to-day commercial and/or contract management on major defense contracts.
  • To support the sales team in developing commercial input into bids and proposals.
  • To negotiate and close contracts between NPA and its customers or key subcontractors.
  • To ensure flow-down of prime contractual obligations to its key supply chain.
