About the Role
Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Commercial Lead to join our client on one of their exciting London Rail projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team on all commercial aspects of the project, including CVRs, forecasting, procurement, management of the supply chain, maximising cash-flow and client liaison. This role reports directly to the Project Director and Commercial Lead for Rail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for the project.
- Ensure that all team members have a thorough understanding of the contract conditions relevant to their work.
- Oversee reporting procedures for cost and value monitoring.
- Collaborate with project teams on major decisions affecting project outcomes.
- Maintain financial controls to monitor costs and value of work undertaken.
- Foster and enhance relationships with clients while delivering projects in a cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial management on major projects for first-tier contractors.
- Familiarity with claims production and negotiation.
- Knowledge of major forms of contract (NEC, ICE, NR9/12 etc.).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
