About the Role:
Fawns Recreational Services Limited is an expanding company based in the East of England, designing, manufacturing, and installing timber play equipment primarily for the School, Nursery, and Parish Council sectors. We are part of the Wicksteed Leisure Group of Companies and have been established for 28 years, employing over 40 people.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales within a designated territory to achieve targets set with support from the Sales and Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving sales within a designated territory to achieve targets set with support from the Sales and Marketing Director.
- Communicate (written/verbal) accurate information to the sales support team to ensure process efficiency.
- Ability to self-generate new leads through prospecting will be required.
- Lead local marketing activity.
- Help develop new products to benefit company sales.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to build rapport with customers, build trust and confidence in a short space of time.
- Enthusiastic and promote Fawns with a consultative sales approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated to achieve sales targets set.
- Work in a professional and organised manner, especially time management.
- Smartly presented.
- Full driving licence.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years proven track record in field sales.
