Role Overview

The Sales Director for LATAM will oversee the overall strategy and execution of student recruitment activities for the LATAM region, excluding Brazil. This leadership role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with agents, schools, and institutions in the region, driving the business to meet or exceed recruitment targets. The Sales Director is expected to collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance brand awareness and support the institution's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the student recruitment strategy for the LATAM region.
  • Lead and mentor the LATAM sales team, ensuring that recruitment targets are met for each intake.
  • Cultivate relationships with agents, educational institutions, and key stakeholders to drive brand growth.
  • Represent the institution at major educational fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events across the region.
  • Negotiate and establish agreements with regional partners to support long-term student recruitment objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing and recruitment materials to agents and partners.
  • Collaborate with the central admissions team to ensure all student applications meet the necessary requirements for acceptance.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure agent relationships are properly managed and that all agent contracts and agreements are up-to-date.
  • Maintain strong alignment with internal teams (admissions, marketing, student services) to ensure seamless recruitment operations.
  • Drive innovative recruitment strategies to increase the volume of student enrollments, exploring new opportunities for market growth.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, preferably within international education.
  • Strong network within the LATAM education market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage and inspire a team to achieve challenging targets.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • High degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Desirable

  • Experience studying abroad or working with international education institutions.
  • Experience working with agency partners or in a global context.
