Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Service Contracts
Vacancy Location: Chesterfield, S41 (Hybrid)
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Role SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Property, Maintenance & Facilities Team as a Procurement Specialist - Service Contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating and managing maintenance contracts, ensuring that the organization secures the most favorable terms and conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Contract Negotiation: Develop and maintain relationships with independent contractors, vendors, and suppliers; Negotiate and agree maintenance contracts that meet the organization's needs.
- Contract Management: Monitor contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; Research business partners and their history prior to writing or signing contracts.
- Reporting and Administration: Provide information and reporting to support the Facility Management Team and Property Department; Maintain accurate records and reports related to contract management.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. You should also have a strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
