Housing Development Specialist

This is a senior role requiring strategic leadership and management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide comprehensive project management, ensuring the successful delivery of development projects.
  • To develop project programs taking into account available resources, overall strategic regeneration program, procurement lead times, consultation, and constraints on schemes.

Main Objectives:

  • To deliver high-quality housing development projects that meet the objectives of the local authority and Registered Provider.
  • To work closely with stakeholders, including the Head of Regeneration and Development, to identify and progress development opportunities.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time and permanent position requiring 37-40 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday.
  • The successful candidate will have significant experience working in a Development and Regeneration environment, including leadership roles and managing other managers/team leaders.

Essential Criteria:

  • Possesses significant experience in project management and contract management, encompassing the procurement process.
