Job Overview: The Risk Management Lead will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services across the Family Care Division at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with the Divisional Head of Quality Governance and Risk Management, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and maintaining quality governance and risk management processes in line with the Trust's overarching framework.

Your key responsibilities will include investigating complaints and clinical incidents, monitoring quality assurance databases, undertaking spot checks of clinical practice, and ensuring all incidents are reported and escalated according to Trust policy. You will also provide education and training to staff, facilitate learning opportunities, and ensure robust processes for reviewing and developing policies, guidelines, and patient information.

A seasoned professional with a strong background in risk management and quality assurance, you will bring expertise in incident investigation, complaint management, and policy development. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. A Registered Nurse or equivalent healthcare professional with a Level 3 qualification, you will possess a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and services. We offer a competitive salary of £52,000-£62,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including pension, health insurance, and annual leave.
