**Job Summary:** Academics Ltd is seeking a qualified Learning Assistant to join our team at an SEN college in Bournemouth. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, patience, and understanding.

The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly autism and/or Asperger's, and will be able to demonstrate a calm and empathetic approach. They will be required to work closely with teaching staff and other support professionals to provide individual and group support to learners.

**Responsibilities:**
• Provide support to students with autism and/or Asperger's in a variety of settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and community-based activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues to ensure that students receive the best possible support
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

**Salary:** £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Location:** Bournemouth
