Youth Support Worker - Make a Difference

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people and make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Outreach Youth Worker to join our team and provide support to primary and secondary students with a range of needs.

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Help students develop important life skills, such as problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and communication.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding.
  • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating behaviours, values, and attitudes that encourage young people to emulate.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide individualised support to students in community venues or residential settings, depending on their individual needs.

  • Build strong relationships with students, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Offer guidance and support to help students engage with positive activities and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support for students.

Estimated salary: £20 per hour. Working days: Monday to Friday (term time only). Flexible hours: between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Age group: Key Stage 1-4. Specialist provision: SEN, SEND, SEMH, Behavioural, Medical.
