Job Title: Content Director - Localization Specialist

Company: My Product Path

Location: Remote (London or Manchester)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £50,000-60,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Director - Localization Specialist to join our team at My Product Path. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for managing the localization process for our travel and loyalty company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all localization requirements in line with the launch plan for all content types.
  • Collaborate with the translation team and internal teams to build and manage the glossary, style guide, and tone of voice for our different territories.
  • Create language quality processes to verify tone of voice and language quality assurance.
  • Manage external translators (vendors and freelancers) for maximum quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
  • Seek opportunities to standardize and optimize our approach to content and content management.
  • Report clear and consistent project statuses to third-party project partners and internal departments.
  • Keep comprehensive records of all financial data to ensure that project spending remains within budget.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a comparable localization role, either as a project manager or program manager working on language launches, software, and creative content.
  • Proven experience managing translation and transcreation through external LSPs and freelance translators for multiple languages.
  • Proven experience creating and managing glossaries, style guides for new languages.
  • Ability to partner with internal operations teams and work internally across content and technical teams as well as externally with vendors.
  • Ability to hold teams accountable to a high-quality standard.
