About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Editorial Director to join our team at Content With Purpose. As the Head of Editorial, you will be responsible for shaping the editorial strategy and vision behind our award-winning digital content.

This is a pivotal role that requires a talented and forward-thinking individual who can blend journalistic rigor with creativity and a commercial mindset. You will be instrumental in guiding our editorial narratives and ensuring the consistent delivery of content that is engaging, trustworthy, and resonates deeply with professional audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Editorial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive editorial strategy that aligns with our company's purpose and vision.
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of our target audience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of project managers, producers, and editors to deliver exceptional content.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Content Marketing and Production teams to ensure seamless execution of content projects.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all content meets high editorial standards and adheres to best practices for digital content creation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in editorial, video, and film production, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, creative and strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen sense of market trends.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 basic salary, dependent on experience.
  • Annual Bonus: 10% performance-based bonus.
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, laptop and homeworking setup, and annual wellbeing allowance.
