Key Responsibilities: As a Web Archiving Coordinator at the UK National Archives, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Performing quality assurance checks on archived websites and social media posts to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Using specialist software such as Webrecorder and ScreamingFrog to capture and QA websites.
  • Accurately updating an in-house database with relevant information.
  • Detecting and alerting other team members to problems with the quality of archived websites.
  • Supporting the web archiving process to ensure smooth execution from preparation to publication.


We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent IT skills, experience working with web capture technology, and knowledge of digital preservation software and methodologies. A competitive salary of approximately $65,000, depending on experience, is offered, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.
