About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Risk and Performance Lead to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the identification and mitigation of risks associated with our product lines to ensure sustainable profitable performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis of product line performance at overall market and syndicate level
  • Ensure that agreed control processes and tools are effectively used for the oversight of underwriting risks and product performance
  • Identify key performance issues and insights in a concise and compelling way, making clear recommendations for ongoing performance oversight
Requirements
  • Significant and relevant insurance/reinsurance industry experience
  • Strong underwriting expertise and knowledge specifically related to Property Treaty or D+F
  • Experience in managing P+Ls and ability to read an insurance balance sheet
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data
