Job Title: SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs in a vibrant client school located in Westminster.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Assess and monitor progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to SEN reviews and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
  • Proven experience working with students with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • The Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through GSL Education.
  • Two professional child-related references.
  • Updated CV.
