Job Description

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Assistant (SEN) to join our team in Westminster.

As an Autism Support Assistant (SEN), you will play a crucial role in supporting students with autism, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering tailored educational plans.
  • Assisting students with their learning and development.
  • Managing challenging behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Autism Support Assistant (SEN) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with autism.
