Job Title: SEN Teacher
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to SEN reviews and meetings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
- Proven experience working with students with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through GSL Education.
- Two professional child-related references.
