About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to elderly residents in care homes across Heanor, Ilkeston, and West Hallam.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized support to residents, adhering to their care plans and preferences.
  • Perform personal care duties and observation checks to ensure residents' safety and hygiene.
  • Engage residents in activities to promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Safely use moving and handling equipment to assist residents.
  • Maintain a focus on health and safety at all times.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with safety procedures.
Requirements
  • A full and up-to-date CV.
  • Referenceable work history showing at least 3 months of paid UK experience in a care home.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
  • Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Own transport is required.
Working Hours
  • 06:45 to 14:30
  • 14:15 to 22:00

You will be working on days from Monday to Sunday on a mix of early and late shifts.

Pay and Benefits
  • £11.60 per hour.
