Care and Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our Residential Children's Service team at Derbyshire County Council. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide responsive care and support to young people during the night, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the Residential Children's Worker to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Participate in regular team meetings and reflective practice sessions to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Hold a Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma and Social Care Pathway (England) or equivalent qualification.
- Have experience working with young people with complex needs and a strong understanding of the Children Act and Quality Care Standards.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative and judgment when required.
- Be willing to undertake additional training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
