About this Role:
The position of a Service Support Officer is critical for maintaining the efficient operation of IT services within an organisation. Effective management of incidents, facilitation of communication between technical teams and users, and support for continuous service improvement are key responsibilities that significantly contribute to the overall success of the IT department and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative, Asset, and Configuration Management Support: Assist with managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to ensure technology services are delivered efficiently and align with organisational goals.
- ICT Procurement Requests: Manage ICT procurement requests to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Point of Reference: Act as a point of reference to ICT service staff for procurement queries and issues.
- Service Quality Maintenance: Maintain service quality by conducting regular reviews and implementing best practices in ITIL methodologies.
What We Are Looking For:
We seek a dedicated Service Support Officer to join our ICT service team and contribute to the effective delivery of IT services. As a Service Support Officer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring that technology services are delivered efficiently and align with our organisational goals.
Salary and Benefits:
£33,366 - £34,314 per annum, 37 hours per week, 3 x permanent positions available. We offer agile working options and commit to improving the diversity of our workforce to better reflect the communities we serve.
