About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Delivery Specialist to join our team at The Cumbria County Council. As a key member of our ICT service team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of IT services within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative, Asset, and Configuration Management Support: Assist with managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to ensure technology services are delivered efficiently and align with organisational goals.
  • ICT Procurement Requests: Manage ICT procurement requests to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Point of Reference: Act as a point of reference to ICT service staff for procurement queries and issues.
  • Service Quality Maintenance: Maintain service quality by conducting regular reviews and implementing best practices in ITIL methodologies.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of IT service management principles and experience working with ITSM tools is essential.

Salary: £34,143 per annum

Contractual Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: 3 x permanent positions available

Location: Kendal, Penrith, or Barrow (including agile working)
