Job Title: Community Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Health Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our community midwifery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality women-centred maternity care to patients in the Kendal area.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, with experience in providing antenatal, postnatal, and intrapartum care. You will be a passionate advocate for woman-centred care and possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality women-centred maternity care to patients in the Kendal area.

  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Registered Midwife qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Current driving license.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
