About the Role
">As a Community Wellbeing Specialist, you will play a vital part in supporting service users to engage in community-based activities, promoting positive physical and mental wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Occupational Therapy team to achieve a long-term goal: assisting service users to move into more independent living settings. You will assist service users in group and 1-to-1 settings to develop skills and routines, creating individual plans to promote independence and positive physical and mental wellbeing.

We are looking for someone who can provide care and support to 16 adults, working 40 hours a week at Ann House, a Learning Disability and Autism service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
">* Assist service users in group and 1-to-1 settings to develop skills and routines
* Create individual plans to promote independence and positive physical and mental wellbeing
* Work closely with the team to achieve a long-term goal: assisting service users to move into more independent living settings.

Requirements
">* A diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational therapy, social work, psychology)
* Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
