Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Nurse Specialist to join our team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a skilled nursing team in complex orthopaedic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for individual patients with complex orthopaedic conditions.
  • Ensure nursing care is delivered in a holistic manner using an individualized approach.
  • Coordinate admission and discharge planning processes in conjunction with the Access and Discharge Co-ordinator and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Discuss problems or changes relating to planned care and treatment with patients/carers and relatives.
Leadership and Management Responsibilities
  • Be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring good communication with other departments internally and externally.
  • Utilise staffing resources to provide effective cover for the ward.
  • Promote and initiate innovations related to improvement of clinical services.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annumBenefits
