About the Role:

Amspec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our large architectural package project. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other staff.
  • Maintain regular communication to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment.
  • Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
  • Facilitate safety inspections and address any safety concerns immediately with the site teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, reports, and records via our Project Management system Procore.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to Amspec Senior Management team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • SMSTS.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and building codes.
